my hens have eaten some rhubarb leaves, is this toxi to them?

chickens can developed yellow urates - a sign of kidney damage. nothing obvious developed quickly. it wont kill themright way but can have a debilitating effect on your hens over say a two year span.

My hens have had a go at them in the past with no apparent ill effects as have many others on this forum so do not panic, just fence the rhubarb off so they cannot get at it again. :)
