Title: Well that's the sweetcorn in the freezer.

and quite an amount there is, ::)  the biggest box in an upright freezer!  Took the advice I found on t'internet and removed all but the inner leaves, trimmed the silks and stalks and froze them like that.  Hope it works!

I prepared in the same way and then blanched them for around five minutes before cooling and freezing, I have tried some from frozen and they are delicious.

Micky, did you Blanch with the inner leaves on?  Getting worried about the coming frosts so need to pick tomorrow.

No I removed all the inner leaves, blanched them ready to eat, cooled and then froze.

Thanks Micky. Got a bit of a reprieve from the frost so a few more days to ripen. Watching the forecast though.
