my pet shamo!!
« on: November 07, 2007, 17:37 »
hi,  i know that most of you will probably think of  the shamo breed as quite an aggresive breed but i want to tell you about my shirley.
Shes a shamo that i saved from a fellow birdman, she was born blind and he was going to have her destroyed but i managed to talk him into letting me have her.
She is a real darling, she totaly trusts me and is coming on great guns.
She likes nothing better than to sit on my hand in the garden and feel the wind around her, no-one believes it untill they see her.
MY 7 year old named her shirley the shamo, shes about 20" high and a real babe, and hopefully will live a good comfortable life in my garden.
Just wanted to share this with you as its great to get so close to a bird that is normally thought of as a fighter,!
