I feel so much better now  :D :D :D

Next time I'll get some hybrids, call them all Egg, and when one's poorly will cull and replace. But these girls are special  :D

My understanding is that vets often have a different scale of fees for farmyard animals to domestic pets - might be worthwhile reclassifying your poultry and renegotiating fees in future (eg vet to come out, catch 4 llamas and vaccinate each one - £66 total).

My vet didnt have a price on the computer for chickens...she had to charge as if she was a guinea pig!  :D

Next time call the vet all in a flutter and say "my guinea pig just laid an egg!"  :ohmy:  That would definitely warrant a vet visit.
