Hi all, have just read someones post with reference to worms! I am not sure if my girls may have worms. There poo's are quite frothy looking and the colour of mustard. It is not all the time just the occasional ones (poo). Would anyone reccommend me worm them anyway. Could someone please advise me on what to use and where could i get it from. Would i be able to use anything from my local pet shop? They are all well, good red combs, eating, drinking and laying!

The poops your describing sound like ceacal poops and quite normal

HI sarah thanks for replying. I have looked at your poo pics and i am sure they are quite normal. WE have 4 hens. 2 of them are 1 year and the other 2 are under 4/5months. They all seem really happy but i keep really worrying about worming them.

If they've been on the same patch of land for 12 months then it may be best to do them

I always use Flubenvet as this treats gape worm as well as all the other nasties

Also a few places where you can buy it on there
I buy the big 240g tub this might be a bit big for you they do do a smaller version now purposely for smaller flocks

You can sometimes buy it at farm feed stores
