hi folks so the day is finally here and the girls are arriving later . i have food both mash and pellets . i have corn and water and food containers . i have converted my shed with 3 nest boxes and 4 large perches. I have pretreated the perches with something my local supplier said would stave of mites . We have wood chippings on the shed floor and straw in the nest boxes . The run is large and has a sun shade as a shelter from the rain and sun obviously . i have apple cider vinegar and grit and oyster shell ready to go too .
Anyone think of anything ive missed . Any suggestions will be greatfully received

Camera?
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I'd say everything is in hand - you'll have forgotten something (always happens!) but you seem well prepared.

Time to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet before they arrive  :D

it all looks good - you still need to put on photos of the house/run before they arrive - then as they arrive and you put them in their house for the first time, then one when they've settled after a couple of hours - one as a group, each hen on its own.........

and of course the family pics - with mum, an assortment of roosters who might be dad, the second cousins that always fight, the other cousins who aren't talking to the first lot because of what they said about Our Daisy...
