my dog thinks he's a chicken.

i can't put it any simpler.

he eats pellets, he drinks out of the drinkers. he kicks up a fuss when a hen lays, he runs around barking when the boys crow and the other day...my neighbour's husband (from 3 doors down caught him having a chat with our speckled boy....apparently the rooster was rosey and he was nodding and turning his head side ways. once the rooster was done he whined back.

i'm just waiting for him to lay a nice double-yolker...

he practically already is bantam novice. last week the rabbit kits were out and about and he was laid on his side with his hind leg up, letting them nuzzle his tummy. the neighbours thought it was hilarious.

also, when his brother goes to check on the babies he growls at him!
