Title: Howard Gem Kohler petrol pump
Post by: meikle on March 15, 2011, 20:42
My recently purchased Howard Gem cut out when under load.  I thought it was a carb problem and took it apart.  The gaskets were looking a bit worse the wear and I have ordered new ones.  I thought I would replace the petrol pump as well, as there were air bubbles in the fuel line but having a problem locating one.  The Gem has a Kohler K301PT engine, spec 47528d, s/n 9506540.

Anyone any ideas on where I might find a petrol pump?

Thanks

Ian

Thanks Dori, I'll have a look there although I don't know if I'll be allowed as my Gem isn't orange anymore.  A previous owner has painted it a pastel green.
