WOW they look very very healthy strong corn! Well done, which Country Estate do you live on with a garden like that? lol, I am jealous of both your sweet corn, and your garden lol!!

I also removed the small, weak lookin leaves at the base and planted them right upto the next set, Same as tomato planting. The more stem under the soil, the more sturdy they are in the wind. They will throw out advantageous roots from the stem, same as toms too.

Noooooo- info a week too late! (hmm shall I dig up and replant?) But thanks totty thats a really handy tip to know.  Lovely hedges  :) I wish my work was that cool  8)
