How much comfrey can i take from an established plant

Is it possible to strip too much off. I want to add some to the heap and top up the comfrey tea as its not smelly enough to be good.

You can cut the lot down almost to the ground and it will resprout.  You should be able to get at least one more crop off it this summer as well  :)

I cut mine when it gets to about 18" high and have done twice already and the next cut is almost ready now.
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..
