I've got two cats, one of which is very feisty, and a reluctant husband, not very easy to overcome

Will certainly give chooks a serious think over, my neighbour at the allotment might pop in on them on the days I can't get down there.....

Ruth
My OH wasn't that much in favour of chickens but we now have 5! He INSISTED that we got an omlet cube so that it was easier to clean - really he just liked the look of it! They are fantastic - so if you can afford it get one - we coulcn't but still did.

I'm gutted as really want to get things moving with mine, but am away for a couple of days mid June and know i'd worry too much - even if my neighbour let them out.

No, not giving up work, I wish! Thinking of changing to short shifts (07.30 - 15.30, 13.30 - 21.30) due to issues other than chicken related, lol.

I do have the bug, but I'm not sure I shoud just get chooks because I have the bug, I'm going to carry on with research, see how my plot goes........
