Well dug a hole 4ftx3ftx18inch deep and filled it with fresh horse manure trodden down and wetted on thursday,left a cane poking out of it to test temperature,checked it today and it is warming up nicely,will turn it again and tread it down and rewet it tomorrow, then leave it for 2 weeks and cap it with 9 inches of soil and put my frame around it then plant my melons.

is that outside or  ???in the greenhouse please?

Sorry forgot to say outside at allotment,will have a wooden frame around it with soil banked up around the sides to keep the heat in and an old aluminium window frame as a cover
