« on: May 22, 2012, 12:16 »
I am planting up my greenhouse and can't remember if tomatoes like it hot and humid or hot and dry?? I know that cues prefer the opposite to whatever the tomatoes like (don't they).
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I'm going to have 2 cucs at the end of my 12' ghouse, planted on little mounds to keep the stems dry, with bottles sunk into the ground for watering...

but would it also be worth draping some curtains of fleece around them or it that going too far?

yes, dry for toms - hot and humid will creat perfect conditions for blight. I make sure that there is also good air circulation around the inside of the greenhouse to keep the humidity down.
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!
