Wow!  It sounds as if you've been VERY busy...and like you say, if it looks better than some of the others and lots better than it did before when he(?) last saw it then I'm sure you'll be OK.  :)

Take the day off and get the kettle on for when they arrive   ::) :D

I've spent LOADS of time on my plot lately just sitting watching the birds and enjoying the peace whilst drinking hot tea...sometimes it's about how much you get out of your plot mentally, not just as a harvest...goodness, if I was judged on produce I'd have been kicked off ages ago!

You're tidy, you have plans for the future, things are growing that are meant to be growing (raspberries?) and you've been seen trying to make a difference... you'll be fine.

Good luck. x x x

I'd echo the others and say you have really shown commitment by knuckling down to the clearance work and that should count very well in your favour  :)  Allotmenteering folk always smile warmly at the sight if an overgrown plot being turned back into production  ;)

I know you want to manure beds and leave until spring, but do consider planting at least one.  The sight of some overwintering onions, garlic or broad beans over the winter will give you a nice glow of pride while you finish clearing and its lovely to feel you are off and have a crop in the ground  :D
