When my cucumbers all died in spring, I dashed out for a couple of plants from the garden centre. They grew really well and one is giving us more cucumbers than we can use. The plants just had a general cucumber label.

But the other one had loads and loads of small oval fruits which never came to anything. As it was wrapped around allsorts I left it in. Now there are a couple of the fruits growing and I think I know what it may be, given that it should have been prolific, and maybe if it had been grown outside it might have fared better.

Thanks in advance.

It looks a bit like the one I'm growing, Mini White Cucumber. Very light yellow/green colour, produces tons of little cucumbers, and it's best picked when it's not more than 2 inches. The only thing that leaves me perplexed are the spines, which look a bit different.

The first looks like Marketmore, which we're growing but is lagging behind. The second looks like Crystal Lemon, which we are also growing and which is providing multiple fruits every other day at the moment.  :D
