Festive gift of cordless saw but with a battery.
« on: November 10, 2017, 14:16 »
I thought of buying Mr.Gander one of these for cutting small bits of timber but, apart from not knowing the best make and model, the ones I've looked at seem to come with no battery! To get one of these is almost as much as the saw itself. Can anyone help me on this?
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Make sure to get lithium ion battery powered stuff as other batteries are prone to failure if not used for long periods .

Lithium batteries are the most expensive part of the tool , the more expensive ones generally have a longer working charge (high amp/hr) than the cheapies.

IMO the old adage "buy cheap, buy twice" was made for battery tools!
