hi all, a friend of mine told me to feed my girls some meal worms as a treat, is that ok, if so,where do i buy them, and,  do you get them fresh or dried, sorry about a daft question ??? peggy

they can be either fresh or dried. Some people get theirs off the internet, some from pet shops and others from stores such as wilkinsons. Garden centres also sell them in amongst the wild bird food.

Any decent pet stores will sell them as live food expect to pay about £2 for a box. The chooks will go crazy for them. You might also see Morio worms which are bigger they are OK as well. Use them as  treat and have fun
