Broadbeans
« on: April 22, 2011, 07:35 »
i have got some broadbeans in the greenhouse doing well and i am going to harden them off this week in the coldframe.
i know they are winter plants and can be overwintered but will they bo ok in a late frost?
also i have seen a lot about the black fly solution but do i need to net these against birds?

its my first growing year so i am very excited and dont want to make any mistakes  :nowink:

They'll be fine with frost as long as you harden them off well befor they stay outside.  No need to net for birds.
