Great idea to use old hula hoops -- why have I never thought of this? (no answer required thank you  :tongue2:)

Those of us who work in a school might have a source to use ........

HULA HOOP alert!!!!!!

I bet they are not made from UVI plastic.

Pound to a penny left out in the full sun for a few weeks, they'll go brittle & snap.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

You could be right  :( :( :( but it might be worth a try anyway (ever optimistic, me!) if they are not holding up anything very heavy .............................

Don't come running to me if you break a leg!! :tongue2:

You might get away with it for one year, next year you'll need some more and at some stage someone's going to wonder where all the hula hoops have gone to!

I remember finding this big polythene sheet wrapped around a lamp post after one particularly windy night. Ideal for covering my horse poo. Next spring when I came to remove it, it just cracked & fell to bits making a right mess.

In some schools you'd be lucky to find more than half-a-dozen hula hoops let alone spare old ones!

There's plenty of other equipment but we might be thinking Key Stage 1 schools for hula supplies... ::)
