Just found this deal which seems very good. It expires tonight, so don't wait.

Description:
Magnolia 'Yellow River'

    Hardy Shrub

This magnificent deciduous shrub has superb, goblet-shaped, pale yellow flowers. This hardy compact Magnolia makes an ideal focal point in smaller gardens and woodland planting schemes. A superb specimen shrub! Supplied as a bareroot plant. Height and spread: 1.8m (6').

Ideal For:
low maintenance garden, specimen plant, woodland garden

Flowering Period:
    April, May

Position:
    sun or semi shade

How To Grow:
Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from cold winds and hard spring frosts. Magnolias prefer a moist, well drained acid to neutral soil that is high in organic matter. If you don't have acid soil, incorporate plenty of ericaceous compost into your border prior to planting. Plant bareroot Magnolias at the same depth as they were previously planted. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.

Then just use order code VMNS11Z in your shopping basket.

Unfortunately you can only order a single magnolia for this price.

A lovely shrub, although I couldn't have one here. I hope you bought yours ConfusedGardener, before the offer expired. :)

I did indeed grab myself one before the deal expired. Not sure where to put it, but I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze it in somewhere  ;)

Glad to hear someone else could benefit from the offer. I'm a bit surprised to hear it's still active though!

Did you get yours yet thumperrabbit?

Mine arrived today. Still haven't unpacked it yet... I'm not sure what to do with it - I want to put it in my rockery, which isn't finished yet. I suppose best to leave it till the rockery is finished in a couple of weeks (probably) rather than putting it in a pot and then having to traumatize it by transplanting it?

I certainly wouldn't leave it in it's wrapping for a couple of weeks, it'll more than likely be dead by then.

IMO Potting it up and transplanting when the site for it is ready, would be better than leaving it unplanted.
