I am completely fed up with all this rain, we are expecting another months rainfall in the next 24 hours, after having that only 10 days ago it seems a touch OTT to me!  The garden is beginning to flood again but at least my house is a foot off the ground and we are a long way off any water in the house (except via the walls that are getting damp where the gutters can't cope).  I have been trying to get a new path made for the last 6 weeks but it just hasn't been dry for long enough to get it dug out, looks like it will be a good while now before that is the case.  sniff.

well I arrived at the plot on Sat at 11am.. in glorious sunshine.. I opened the car door and BOOM/CRACK/FLASH the heavens opened and the thunder storm started... we waited in the car for 30 mins and decided to head home.. got home opened the car door.. the storm vanished and the sun came out... I was fuming. Nearly went back to the plot but lucky we didn't as 30 mins later it started again and didn't stop all day and night.

had half a plot to dig as well... so went there on Sunday morning 8am to start ma digging.. then the site manager came over and offered to rotorvate it all with the biggest rotorvator I have ever seen... 30 mins later and £5 quids in his pocket it was a great sight to see... every thunderstorm has a silver lining :D

Was planning on going down the plot , but No chance, It has been raining since about 11.30 last night and with my clay soil I think I would need the fire brigade to rescue me once down there.  It is now thundering so hopefully this darn rain will stop soonish.

I don't think so, looks like it's circulating! Have a look here & hit the play button. (This link will update, so it's only valid for a while).

Met Office

Looks like what you've got now is coming to us & what we have is heading back to you! In the mean time, it's stopped raining now, so I'm off to grab a lettuce or three.

My garden today at 11.05am.  It was not under water 2 hours ago so I am seriously hoping it stopps soon or the whole lot will be under water in a couple more hours!  I'm fairly confident that much as spuds like a drop of water they will not be enjoying this much!

Got spuds and sprouts/broccoli on the left of the picture everything else at the top also looking distinctly sad and damp.

It is absolutely belting it down here in Cheshire.
And has been doing so for most of June.

My Lottie is sandy soil but even that is beginning to clump up.
Soooo glad I don't have clay.

Oh, I've got clay, and it's just impossible to dig right now - which is what I should be doing. Managed to weed in between rain/sunshine intervals last week but it was a challenge........
