... I finally got round to pickling my shallots ... now I've got wait a month to try one!

I'm making tomato and chilli jam next week.

for an extra bite in ya onions drop a chilli in whole ,, dont feerget to chew ya chillie to  :wink: , if you want to be a brave person and make a quid or 2 . try this one at the pub . take a chillie along with ya in a packet , and start talking about them and how ur mates grown this massivly hot one .. now set your plan , the one with the biggest bravado is the one your looking for , place your wager .  (check out the charity boxes on the bar ) then . you take of the tip of the chillie and your opponent the other bit  and watch the face he pulls ./ you should use a bolivion rainbow type chillie . now you wil fare better as the tip is actually less fiery than the stem end ,, dont forget to place your winnings in the charity box, ,and remebember , no pain no gain  :lol:

I've got some really lovely ones that are round and about the size of cherry.  I couple of those would look really good in the jars!
