Humane Dispatchers?
« on: May 21, 2007, 13:15 »
Does anyone on here use them? Any tips or advice?

The wall mounted type I have bought has come with no instructions at all!

I don't know if any members here have one of these.  Why don't you contact the supplier for help in the meantime  :?:

i have a 'humane dispatcher', excellent bit of kit, cant remember where i got it, might have been on ebay, mine is like a pair of pliers that dont fully close. easy to use, squeeze fully and then stretch neck  a bit and all done, tried to dispatch manually before but found technique difficult and head came off, much less frantic with the dispatcher

... i saw that you have bought a wall mounted one, i think you mount it on wall, hold chicken, put neck into it and pull the handle to dispatch then hang bird by legs as it flaps about, i suppose it would be easier if you were processing a number of birds.
