I have discovered the perfect container to feed table scraps/cooked veg peelings so it doesn't get thrown all over the run. It's red (so the girls are keen to approach) and big to be noticeable, costs nothing, has a lid, is easy to wash & cheap to replace. Will go in the microwave if you want to warm up the sloshy mix......
A certain brand of chocs which are small versions of big bars (OK it's not the BBC - Celebrations - but other brands are available) comes in a red 'plastic tin' as it is known in our house: what could be better?
Free chocs with every chicken dish purchased - no, that's the wrong way round! And if any more come my way (gentle hint) they'll do as extra water dishes in summer.
