Title: Fence Sprayers - worth their money?

I need to coat quite  large areas of sheds & fencing & wonder if these do work in your experience? How do pump sprayers compare with power sprayers? Also do you get what you pay for as regards named brands v own label ?

Any thoughts would be gratefully received as I hate to pay out on gadgets only to find they dont make the job any easier.

I wasn't impressed - but then I was trying wickes shed treatment and not the proper spay stuff.

I found it much quicker with a good 4" brush, not the rubbish they sell with thick nylon brushes but a big old fashioned emulsion brush.

My next door neighbour used one on his side of our fence and our back door got nicely sprayed too!! It was about 5 ft away!  So not good if you have neighbours.  I didn't worry as I was planning to paint the door anyway!
