Worming & Sanitising
« on: April 24, 2010, 10:02 »
So I am 3 days into my hen adventure and have already caught the bug (hmmm some ducks next perhaps?)

My daughter discovered this morning that one hen has worms as seen in her poop, therefore I am going to assume, as they all came from the same place, that the other 3 also have worms. I have used the search thingy on here and found lots and lots of advice and am going to get some Flubenvet today.

My question is I would feel happier sanitising their coop and run (they free range all afternoon) is this correct? What should I use?

Thanks CJ

If you're having a good cleanout and scrub I'd use Jeys, but if you just want to dry disinfect, try Staloson F powder.
