Title: Anyone know what size allen key is needed to remove CL.311
Post by: shrimp on June 18, 2015, 11:50
I'm trying to remove a MT.777/1 pulley but does anyone know what size allen key I would need to remove the  CL.311 grub screw.

Are you sure it is MT.777/1 as the only difference between MT.777 and MT.777/1 is the thread for the grubscrew? MT.777/1 is metric so needs a 3mm key. I would think the earlier grubscrew will need a 1/8" key as the grubscrew is Whitworth.

I'm not sure if I have the MT.777/1 pulley as I took the part number from http://www.allotment-garden.org/rotovator/manuals/wolseley-wizard-rotovator-manual.pdf  I've tried every metric allen key I have but none of them fitted so I thought I would need a imperial allen key.
