Title: chicken died

we lost 1 of our chickens today  still dont no why she went in her nest box and my daughter went in to give her a hug and she was dead she wants another 1 is it safe to put new 1s in straight away  with the other 1s they all look fine

Sorry to hear about your chicken.  It must have been awful for your daughter.

It might be easier while they sort out the pecking order to introduce two new chickens rather than just one, and I would certainly quarantine them for at least 2 weeks in case of any infections.  If you can keep them in sight of each other that may help when you eventually integrate them.

Chickens can just die for no apparent reason - usually it is a heart attack like in humans.

when my daughter brought her in she was dead , she had green stuff coming out her nose so we still  dont no why she died  her dad had to make her a grave
 the other  girls seem fine
