[Mark's Sussex Allotment]

Evening all,

An allotment holder planted his broad beans in his poly in October, and they are about 2 foot high and flowering.

Surely they won't set with no pollinators?

I grew some in my polytunnel 2seasons ago.  The yield wasn't as good, but they did fine, as did the peas and runner beans!

I guess with peas though, you don't have the dreaded moth!!!

No pests at all!  I think maybe broad beans are self pollinating?  But I haven't checked that!
