Just taken over a plot share and planning to pop up the temporary greenhouse in an attempt to over winter  few chilli plants, but what else can I sow over the next couple of months? We seem to be having some great weather at the moment, so it would be a shame not to try.

Is it possible to plant a late crop of potatoes in bags within the greenhouse?
I'm not expecting miracles but I'd like to try getting as much as I can growing before its too late,

Get your seed box out and have a riffle through it. The backs of the packets will reveal all

I grow a "second crop" of spuds in Bags, but I plant them first week of August.  I'd say it was getting too late to plant them, and you may struggle to find "prepared seed potatoes".

Best to pick the fastest of the First Early varieties, if you get the choice   I grow a few Rocket in the Spring for the earliest crop (and then varieties that the "kitchen" prefers )

I grow, garlic. onion sets and carrots in the green house raised beds while we are away in Spain for the winter. the garlic are left in until June but the sets and carrots are harvested in May, not big but it makes use of the land.
