I know but our other 2 have layed their first eggs aswellbut one has no shell and the other has only the yolk ! Why is tht?

They're just practicing,  make sure they eat only their pellet still until the shells get hard.

I'd throw the soft ones away.

Probably. A lot of first eggies are small, give em a week or so and they will get bigger :D Congrats. So exciting getting first eggies, tho I still love collecting eggies :oops: never get bored with it :D

Well done Cati!!! (OK, I know its the hen that actually laid the egg, but she's your hen so you get the credit as far as I'm concerned  :lol: ).

Have you decided how you will cook it yet?  I did my first egg soft boiled with soldiers - didn't want anything to get in the way of enjoying the egginess of it   :oops:

I dont know how im going to cook it yet it is very very small so there wont be much to cook.

They havent layed today is that normall ?

I Enjoy Going To Get The Eggs Aswell , Its Fun Even Though Its Only Getting Eggs It Is Exciting To See What and Who Has Layed !
