I saved some from last year (from the garden) when should I sow them to flower this year ? (or wont they??)
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I googled T&M lupins and got one of their results - there are cultivation instructions on the page, and I'd have thought they were fairly typical irrespective of particular variety.

That being said, if your plant was an F1 variety, who knows what will grow!!

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I found lupin seeds are best started about mid summer, right after they finish seeding. Being a perennial, they need a whole season to set roots and plant size before they'll flower the following year.
But I've also heard of people starting seed indoors now. Whether or not it will flower this year is a chance you take, but at least the plant is well on its way.

Rough them up with a bit of sandpaper or soak overnight in water. You could start them now but would need somewhere frost free to keep them. I have had flowers the 1st year but you are better off starting them later as they seem to last better if they have a good root system before they try to flower.

I'd move it earlier, like Feb if possible before it really wakes up. Be sure to dig deep for that tap root.
