I found this monster lurking under the leaves in my very overgrown courgette patch.  It's about 30cm across.  Can anyone suggest what I can do with it (aside from eating it in installments?).  Can it be stuffed?  Roasted?  Used to make rum?  Saved for Halloween?

If nothing else, hollow it out and use it to serve food from. A lot of telly cooks like to use that idea. Soup is the most popular filler.

Very fetching I'm sure, and handy for keeping the sun off while you're digging and weeding......

Paint it silver and fake some UFO photo`s.

Stuff it.   Cut off the top, scoop out the flesh and fry this with the stuffing of your choice.  Re-insert and bake in the oven

Mmm, that sounds like a much more sensible idea......   Would make a great centrepiece for an al fresco (here's hoping.....) banquet.
