This is them, only in green....... :tongue2:

Wow.... that's the business! I bet they were / are expensive.

[We have a pair of relatively new prefabricated garage-style buildings in which our Allotment Association store shared petrol driven equipment - free to use.]

They are, they were around £4000 a few years ago, every allotment has them in this area & they are enclosed with good grade iron railings.

£4000  :( that would be out of the queation for us.... One tiny patch was sold for housing years ago to finance our double garage lock-up and the equipment. There is no way that we would ever consider doing that again. What a price!  Who paid?

There was lottery funding set aside for the revamp of these particular allotments several years ago which I only found out about while I was attempting to buy some of the land. Unfortunately they are quite some distance from my house.......about 500yrds :tongue2:

Yes it was a bit pricey Penny, almost £7 for the wooden one......coat bolts......door latches etc but the steel one is a bargain, £30 yr for the allotment, steel shed included  :tongue2:
