I've bought theese from ebay :

has anyone grown theese ? had success ?

any tips and how should they be planted.

I am also going to plant some violets garlic we got in august whilst in France!

Plant them about 6" apart and deep enough so the tip just shows, then replant them again after the bl@@dy blackbird pulls them up  :evil: :lol:

I usually plant mine in the next 2-3 weeks depending on the weather.

I had a great crop this year, but don't expect to see any real growth till the spring  :D

Agree with Richie but I planted mine 5 inches apart, but what's an inch between friends. :wink:

I've got moles so they get undermined and moley brings the sets up all over the plot, often yards from where they were planted.  I tried to plant alternate colours last year, a normal onion next to a red one, just to relieve the monotony  :D   Mole really messed up my best laid plans  :roll:  Hey ho   Between the moles and the birds the bed ended up looking really messy  :(
