hi bodger i have been lurking around that site for a bit now and also find it a nice place to visit

I came across it a while back whilst searching for 29mm crown caps to fit champagne bottles,

which I use for a preliminary closure on 1.75 lb ('proper' champagne) bottles (with undercap) prior to disgorging, as a really safe bottle for primed beer/cider or on 1.25 lb bottles (such as Cava, etc.) for storing pasteurised (non-fizzy) juice/cider (only 3p for the cap instead of approx 75p for a bottle + cap from a drinks equipment supplier):



But other than my own specific interests, they REALLY know their subject.
