Boyes stores have been selling off these excellent products, which feature a chamber which provides aeration and which is claimed to improve plant growth by up to 30%. Mine have lasted about ten years so far, but at the seriously low prices Boyes are asking for them I've bought a couple more of each in case they ever fail. Buy either the sprinkler or the hose-mounted spray head for just a few quid each. I think they were £2.99, if I remember rightly, which is a substantial discount on the RRP.
