They are absolutely gorgeous, they have been out having a play this morning but its raining now so they are charging around the shed playing.

Lizzie I have grass because my chickens and ducks dont live at home. We rent land for the horses so they live over there about 5 mins away. We have 5 acres and the chickens/ducks live in a large electric fenced run but when we are there they free range. Its nice and we are there all day if im not working.
It also means I have a proper isolation unit if any are ill at home with CCTV, heat lamp and lots of TLC.
Its lovely to have babies at home again though.

They are gorgeous, I like Sarah, she is a lovely colour.
Slightly off topic, how many horses do you have, only interested as I have one black fat garden ornament lol.

Definately more to follow, all the neighbours have just been round for a cuddle so they will be well but gently handled. I should charge to cuddle something so gorgeous.

They have been at my Grans all day with me whilst I have been pottering in the garden. As sson as I go out of sight they cry like mad and as soon as they see me again they are fine. I cant believe how quick we have bonded. They come running over if I call. There amazing. Sarah is the cuddlies she just settles down straight away KAte is a bit more fidgety ( perhaps she thinks I want to look at her bum again.) :D :D

They are adorable :wub: I can't wait to have ducklings again, it seems longer than a year since B&B were tiny boys and you forget just how cute they are as little 'uns :blush:

Its been far too warm for the babies outside today so they have been resting in the nice cool shed playing in a bowl of water and then this evening they have been running around like loons and playing like mad in a baby bath of water. sarah did her first duck dive today it nearly scared the life out of me but they are both doing very well and growing daily. They are also growing proper feathers now and are being really cheeky hissing at the cat and dog who just flop down and watch them playing.
They still follow me everywhere which is great but not when they poop on the newly cleaned living room carpet. :nowink:
Ill put up more pics soon. Ive told them Cara and Lizzie have there brothers and sisters and they are pleased that everyone has such fab homes.

Kate and Sarah are growing so fast, They are all feathers on there bellies and the rest is coming along nicely. Kate even has black splodges on her front and belly. they are gorgeous and growing day by day.

They are doing so well. Thank you for the update. It is so nice seeing how they are getting on.

I thought id do an update on my special little girls.
They have been living over the field with the aylesburys and Khakis now for aboout 2 weeks. The first couple of days they kept to themselves unless they were chasing little little (khaki duck) cheeky monsters. The aylesburys chased them if they came to close. They still needed me and followed me everywhere which was great but lately they have become proper little girls. They sleep in the big house with the others and waddle form pond to bowl all day sitting in the water. The little duck has taught them to fly catch which is so funny and they dont follow me as much any more but will still come for a quick cuddle if I have mealworms.
I will post some pics soon they have grown so much and are so gorgeous. As one of them is called kate I thank Kate every day for giving me such precious little girls. I love them.

I'm so pleased to hear they are doing well. Can't wait to see more pics.
Mine are right little terrors now and have their own little gang. All the spats with the others have settled and yes, they still love their mealworms.

Thanks Joy, when we mow the chicken pen to keep it nice we leave strips here and there for the ducks to hide in and it encourages bugs for the ducks and choos to eat.
