...what would it be? I am dreaming of a greenhouse.
-
I am hoping to try get a pond in somewhere up the back
-
Some help!!
-
Polytunnel, but only if Brad Pitt's not available
-
A greenhouse/shed. I think they are called potting sheds, but they are a bit too expensive :(
-
mains water
-
Sunshine
-
Greenhouse and I may be lucky if my brother in law buys a bigger one he has said I can have his old one for the allotment.
-
A year without weeds and pests ;)
-
I agree with TheWhiteRabbit & Aidy.
-
greenhouse pleasethankyou :D
If I have to do no work to get it and set it up, that's even better.
-
Surbie - My brother in law has two and is talking about replacing them with one large one
IF it happens I could suggest I have a possible home for the one that I have not already ear marked for my plot but you would have to come and collect it, even better if your there to assist in the dismantle as you can mark the bits up to make re-erecting easier.
-
seems like greenhouses and poly tunnels are on everyones list.
a word of advise. if you're looking for second hand, start looking now. last year i looked for one but couldn't afford or find space for one til spring. the ones being sold in the start of the year were far cheaper than when everyone starts thinking of growing things when the sun starts to come out.

IF that happened I would be very very grateful!

New bed sides on all my raised beds with proper paths between them. Is that 2 things? Well maybe I am greedy then.
-
A burglar alarm for my shed, and security fence all round the site for us all and a big bat for the burglars ;)

That's THREE things! I should change the topic title now  :D Except that would mean I could add to my greenhouse wish a decent shed and regular night-time slug-patroller... ;)
-
A huge piece of tree trunk to sit on.
-
If its only one thing then its a nice 6x4 shed :) desperate for one advise on the best place to get one is appreciated....like the look of tiger sheds...
and then to add on
- replace the edging on my allotment with better scaffoldng planks
- about the same amount of sunshine as this year
- a cordless cutter to cut the grass paths
-
A social event. Weird I know, but (and it might be because the allotment site is quite big) there is a distinct lack of community. We have a trading hut but no communal facility where plot holders can meet when it rains, other than they seek refuge in their sheds.
;)
-
More spare hours in the day to spend on it. ;)

That's a good idea - you can come and sit on my tree trunk if you like!
-
Horse manure delivered to my plot. :)
-
I'm with MickyB more spare hours to devote to the plot - without wind and rain preferably
-
Am I being too greedy by asking for a poly tunnel? I might try to make one
-
I'd like a way of stopping next door's weed seeds from blowing all over my plot >:(
I'm going to use a bit more weed control fabric this year - but resent having to do so because someone else can't be bothered to keep their plot clean.
-
Asparagus :)
-
How about a model train in the garden ... there was one on a recent post here
-
A shelter where I can sit when it is raining
-
A quiet neighbour who dosent yap cr*p all the time. ;)

I solved this by explaining to mine it was 'my quite space and I come to get away from people as I do a people-job' it's worked really well ....so far.

Some enzyme that turns couch grass into something useful... :D

If only there was away mumofstig, The plot owner next to me is just the same, dandelions everywhere that have gone to seed, the only time he bothers is when we are due a inspection. >:(

A bit more energy and a lot more staying power. But am grateful for what I can do. Sounds like we all could do with something to make our gardening lives easier. ;). Ain't no harm in that. :)

if only I was closer nothing better than experience
-
A shed to store my tools would help no end as I could pop in on my way from work on my bike and do 15 mins weeding every day without taking a special trip out. A helper would be great too as I go away with work a bit.
-
I'll go with Rem ... Sunshine! If I knew it was coming then a) it would make planning easier and b) it would make these horrible grey days easier to bear!
-
at the moment a very very large umberella
-
More space for me please!
Oh...and i also agree with the sunshine bit.........and the more hours free to spend on the plot
bit too.
-
A larger shed
-
A larger shed
Is that to fit the comfy armchair and brew facilities? ;)
-
A small caravan cooker to go in my shed with the comfy chair, carpet, curtains, and zbed :D
-
I'd like a new shed, maybe a little bigger than the one I've got now
Mine is falling apart! I've had it for 10 years, dunno how long it stood on my plot before that!
-
a shed would be good but as only have half plot then would take up to much space at moment. not on plot but in garden am going to try and turn climbing frame into greenhouse
-
Asparagus :)
Me too on order for March
-
Truffles....but thats not going to happen!! :(
-
I'd just like my asparagus to actually grow well this year!! ::)
-
The allotment fairy to eradicate all the onion white rot!
Seriously answer: time to make some new compost bins behind the shed so I can remove the old ones and redsign the plot.
