Have popped up in their droves after just 5 days of being in their cells. I put several in each thinking about half probably wouldn't take but there's loads. I wonder if I should seperate them or whether it comes to transplanting and planting out if I should leave them in clumps?? :unsure:

Don't make work for yourself.....leave them in clumps and thin out the weak ones as they grow. Turnip greens and teeny turnips are tasty....
I haven't got round to planting mine yet.... ::)

no you are not late. someone in our plot sowed it after pulling winter onions and in the packet it says you can sow untill august, but sowing that late means you only get to taste greens and not the bulbs. I have a 10 feet length sown and will be sowing one in late june.
dont need to go for module technology. I sowed it first week of april direct on ground and they were good sized seedlings when I visited the plot last time.
