Cheap stuff at Tesco's
« on: September 07, 2013, 17:19 »
Tesco's are selling off lots of gardening stuff like seed trays, small propagators etc for not a lot. I got some great bargains yesterday.

Our Tesco replaced all the gardening stuff weeks ago - never saw the going of it - they now have Christmas Winterval stuff in the seasonal aisle I think they have forgot that Halloween is first or have plans for that somewhere else!

Seeing Christmas Winterval stuff in late August early September turns me into the Grinch!

I guess I can't complain at the edit, as it was the earliness of the material for the time, that was what I was complaining about in the first place.

My normal discussion with the wife is on why we have to buy all that stuff for what is four days off work..... Doh!

We called into the range in St.Helens the other day and they had four long row's taped off ready for Christmas Winterval stuff. Far to early. In the middle of August we went into a card shop in Widnes where we live to buy a get well card for my dad. As you went into the shop the first 20ft on the right was already selling Christmas Winterval cards. I made a joke with the assistant about this and she said it's what the boss wants, I just said "its only August", she just shrugged her shoulders.

edit - you all know why!
