It is now october and Iwas wondering what green manure to plant.The patch Iwish to plant will be lying fallow for 1 year.Any thoughts? mabe red clover?Many thanks Mark.

Ive got some mustard that I havent got round to putting in yet..not sure if its too late though

Hi Mark
you can sow rye grazing and winter field beans till the end of Nov they both go over winter.When we were looking into this we found a very good web site  www.gardenorganic.org.uk  I think Paula your a bit late for muster, but saying that the weather is so good it could be August.
ps dont be sorry and it's not useless. :)

Thanks terry, Im getting loads of horse manure tomorrow so Ill leave it till next year :-) (if it keeps that long!)
