hi,

bought a  this morning for the shed and my god how bright is it.Ring CYBA-LITE - I also got it because it is rechargable via a wind-up thing at the top. How cool is that. I paid 30 quid at H*m*ba*e. It is really really bright. I have it on 12V charge now. Now I won't need my powerlight arrangement  8)

I could work by it. It hurts my eyes to look at it. I'd buy one to see if one was enough. The wind-up charge thing is amazing.

no I bought it at the garden centre (homeba*e)

will get my husband to get one from there when he's next in england -- won't be able to get it round here, even though we have so many powercuts in the winter :roll:

i nearly burnt the house down with a candle the other evening so i'm looking for alternatives

Sorry, I stand corrected. The shop link I posted is incorrect. HERE IS THE CORRECT ONE. It costs 30 quid, which is what I paid for it in the shop

Actually, it is more useful than just for emergencies - it gave usable light from dusk to nearly midnight last Saturday. I was well impressed.

8 on low setting, 12 on high setting. I can't look at the high setting at night, it is that bright.
