i have a bit of a glut of perpetual spinach and was wondering if i can freeze it? if so whats best way- wilt then freeze?

I just steam it as normal, and freeze as a spinach mass to add into curries etc. later, or if I can be bovverred, chop it up into chunks, freeze the chunks on a tray separately before collecting them up into a bag in the freezer.
