I have just planted a dozen or so sunflowers, I know they will look great at the end of the plot for the summer but then whot?
Dose annybody know of a good use for the seeds, outher than feeding the birds?

Feeding the birds is the best use I know.  If you get enough you could squeeze out the oil and run your diesel car on it!  

You can roast them for your own use but they are the very devil to husk.

The birds dont get a luck in in my garden the bloomin squirrel, does a lumberjack impression and down they go.

Yes, feeding hens (if other than wild birds) or growing for cut flowers.
