We had a downpour that lasted all of 10mins, better than nothing.
All the wet stuff down south seems to be from Winchester all the way through Cornwall.

Another grim and murky Summer's day here although it has finally just started raining. Hopefully it lasts long enough to get into the soil.

It's finally rained here as well.  Not as windy and cold as yesterday but very grey and overcast.  The big Island to the north of us has disappeared again.

The sun is still struggling to break though the thick mist, so temperatures very disappointing at the moment (15C.)

No wind and 100% humidity, so should feel very warm when it finally manages it.

Sunny intervals and quite warm although there's a bit of a chilly breeze.  Possibly thunderstorms according to the met office later but I wouldn't bet on it. Pollen is really high - or at least the pollen that gets me is.

Would be good to get some more rain. The last hasn't soaked in very far although the grass seems to be perking up now.

max 18c.  it depends where you are working because the wind is ESE.  the back of my house is direct south, so it is quite pleasant with lots of sun.   the front is different again.

Warm and sunny but starting to cloud over.  I keep wishing for the wet stuff but no luck.

Alternates with darkening over and then bright skies.  The TV is  playing up and so is the computer, this usually indicates atmospheric disruption  so goodness knows what's going on.  Otherwise it's been a pleasant day, a bit breezy but we've swept the drive and filled the last of our bins, got to make an appointment now so we can go to the tip.

Yesterday we had a dribble or two of rain, maybe a quarter inch but we're back to bright with sunny spells today.

After days on end of willing the clouds to squeeze out more than a few millimetres of rain, yesterday evening we had a thundery downpour which dropped 11mm in 20 minutes! 

Currently what is becoming a familiar sight - thick mist off the North Sea which will no doubt take until lunchtime for the sun to break through.
