Cold and dry earlier. Now cold windy and raining.

It started to drip and spit as soon as I opened the allotment shed door at 10:05 am to retrieve my walking stick. Good thing it wasn't in my plans to do any gardening - the forecast said cold and rain just not that early.

It is really wet, cold and miserable here, I am going to put the CH on now.     I would love to be able to mow my grass but, the mower is still away being serviced.      The grass doesn't know that and has really started to grow now.   But will it ever be dry enough    big sigh.

Yesterday it continued to deluge, puddles formed in that wet patch. Every garden has one. It was freezing cold as well.

Today it's slight wind, cold and due to rain.

Although we had some winds and rain overnight I woke up to see a lovely sunny day and nothing's changed. It's still all blue skies with fluffy white clouds in the distance.

We actually have blue sky and sunshine this morning.  I was expecting another grim day, but now I am thinking of heading outside.  The plot will be sodden, but I am sure I can find something at home to do.

I feel like I have spent way too much time inside recently and should make the most of it

Same here, I'm going round to the plots to pick my last cabbage and swede and see if there's anything I can do (I'm at the top of the hill, so it won't actually be sodden up there) fingers crossed - if not I'll sort the greenhouse shelves out so sowing can begin - as it's March!

Meanwhile, here at the Ranch, it was sunny, but it is clouding over, still too windy.   The wind snapped those ties on my tree, struggled to tie it back, but it is so wet, the root in lifting out of the ground

It's cold, feels like 3C but not freezing, scarcely a breeze. It was gloriously sunny earlier but it's clouded up and it's supposed to rain imminently. Better but the laundry on the dryer.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but I have just been out for an hour or so walking.     AND, there is something yellow is the sky, which was making my back feel hot    Could it be this thing called The Sun ?   If so, bring  it on.  Lovely.   Mrs B

We've also been for a long walk, it's lovely in the sun. The temperature in greenhouse was 30 deg earlier
