Post by: jobson336 on March 04, 2011, 17:47
hi,
just a quickie, can you eat the eggs from hens that are on tylan? a couple of my birds started to sneeze so ive given them a dose to catch it early, they will be on it in their water for the next 7 days. Can i eat the eggs and if not how long after can i then start to eat?

On the Tylan (soluble) bottle that I have, the maufacturer's information sheet states that there is no egg withdrawal, but you cannot eat the meat if it is a table bird.

thats good news as demand is high for eggs  :) although the girls have slowed over last few days, maybe because of their cold or the chilly snap just had  :(
