Title: The Bill for Water....
Post by: mrs bouquet on April 16, 2019, 11:07
has just arrived.  From 21 October to 8 April.   On average 59 litres of water a day.  Typical use for a household of one , 178 litres per day.  So my Bill is £62.59.
I am not dirty, neither is my home, but I am very wise about wasting water.  I soap myself before getting into the shower, then get wet, turn tap off, wash down thoroughly, tap on wash off soap and dirt.
Only ever put the amount of water I need into kettle.  Use washing machine for two washes once a week, making sure it is full.   It just makes sense,  water is no longer a god given right !    I promise, I really am not dirty or smelly.     Mrs Bouquet

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but what annoys me here, is that we pay one company for water and another one for waste so have to pay 2 lots of standing charges
