Quite a mixture this year as I have found a good cheap outlet for loose sets. Radar and Senshyu for my Autumn onions. They seem to be doing well, starting to show signs of bulbing. The usual safe bet stuttgarter and sturon sets. Globo and ailsa craig from seed as a first timer, yet to be planted out.

I've got Stuttgarter and Setton as usual, and also trying Red Baron. Last year's weren't as big, but tbey went on later as the soil was frozen until April

I'd not got my act together in time to sow onions from seed so popped round to the allotment shop and picked up a bag of Stuttgarter and Red Baron ... there seems to be an awful lot of sets in each bag so that will do for me  :)

senshyu and sturon plus a load of garlic and shallots.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Fuentes (big white salad onion)
Valencianes (very firm onions that store extremely well)
Figueres (pink-tinged onion - delicious but not great for storing)
Moradas de Amposta (another pink-tinged onion, slightly better for storing than Figueres)
Zebrune and Ambition shallots from seed
Red Sun and Golden Gourmet shallots from sets
Barletta from seed
Spring onions
